About Us

Established in 1926 as the Southern Districts Tennis Association, we've evolved to become Tennis Macarthur by rebranding in 2016 to better represent who we are, serving the Macarthur & wider community.

The Association caters to players of all levels and ages, offering a diverse range of junior and adult competitions as well as hosting numerous Tennis NSW-sanctioned ranking tournaments, attracting players nationally and internationally every year.

At Tennis Macarthur, we nurture and prioritise tennis grassroots development. Our members have achieved remarkable success over the years, proudly representing the Association in numerous Inter-Club Challenge Cups, NSW Hardcourt Interdistrict Competitions and state and national tournaments.

In 2023, Tennis Macarthur in partnership with Wests Group Macarthur entered into a management agreement of the 14 court Wests Tennis Centre. This collaboration ignited a year-long, $1.5 million improvement project that revitalized the entire precinct. The result? A stunning facility that not only elevates the tennis experience in the region but also garnered the prestigious Tennis NSW Most Outstanding Venue for Metro Sydney award in 2024.

As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2026, Tennis Macarthur looks forward to a future where tennis continues to thrive in the Macarthur community. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of players, building upon our rich history.
