NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Southern Districts Tennis Association Inc. will be held on Monday 16 September 2024, commencing at 7.00pm at the Western Suburbs Leagues Club, 10 Old Leumeah Road, Leumeah, New South Wales, 2560.

BUSINESS TO BE CONDUCTED

1. To confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting held on 18 September 2023
2. To receive and consider correspondence appertaining to the business of the Annual General Meeting
3. To receive and consider the Report of the Committee
4. To receive and consider the Financial Report and the Independent Auditor’s Report for the year ended 30 June 2024
5. To elect office bearers of the Association
6. To elect an auditor
7. To receive and consider nominations for life members
8. To determine honoraria on the recommendation of the Council
9. To deal with any other general business that may be dealt with at the Annual General Meeting

NOTE TO MEMBERS REGARDING NOMINATION FORMS FOR ELECTION OF OFFICE BEARERS

Nomination forms for the Council of Management may be obtained from the Tennis Macarthur website, www.tennismacarthur.com.au and must be in the hands of the Secretary not later than 5.00pm on 16 August 2024.

ANNUAL REPORT

The Annual Report of the Association for the year ended 30 June 2024, which includes the Committee Report, the Financial Report and the Auditor’s Report will be provided to those members who make a written request for them.

NOTE TO MEMBERS REGARDING FINANCIAL QUERIES

Members who wish to raise any queries or seek information at the meeting about the Financial Report or other matters pertaining to the affairs of the Association, are asked to give the Secretary notice in writing of their queries or requests by 14 August 2024. This will enable properly researched replies to be prepared for the benefit of Members.

The Agenda and nominations received for Office Bearer position will be published 7 days prior to the AGM.
