Inter-District

Interdistrict is one of the oldest and most prestigious tennis competitions in Australia, with the first competition being held in 1921.

Nowadays the competition continues with Clubs and Associations throughout Metropolitan Sydney and surrounding areas competing on a home and away basis for the 15 Cups and the Interdistrict Competition Championship Award.

Tennis Macarthur is one of the strongest Associations competing in the Competition, having one the Interdistrict Competition Championship Award which awarded to the Association with the highest number of points earned during the entire Interdistrict season each year since 2006.

Playing dates for the 2023 Competition:

Seniors:

• Commencing either 25th June or 2nd July thence;
• 9th July
• 16th July
• Continues per Open/Junior Dates
  

Opens/Juniors:

• Commence Sunday 23rd July, 2023 thence;
• 30th July
• 6th August
• 13th August
• 20th August
• 27th August

* For 6 team divisions, Sunday 27th August to be used for wet matches or other special considerations.

All Cups:

• Semi-finals: Sunday 10th Sept, 2023, Venue TBA
• Finals: Sunday 17th Sept, 2023, at Tennis Macarthur

Please Note:

• There will be NO PLAY on Sunday 3rd Sept, 2023 (Father’s Day) in any Cup
